The company had publicly declared these as their own products. Upon initial investigation, it was found that the Shenzhen-based company had released a brochure featuring 20 new autumn and winter items, out of which 13 were identical to Shulang’s latest collection. These designs were the result of significant investment by Shulang in terms of manpower and resources, and were developed independently by their design team. The Shenzhen company, which is reportedly newly established, is based in Panyu, Guangdong. Their product catalog includes contact information such as phone and fax numbers. With winter approaching, major brands are actively launching their 2009 collections, and this infringement has caused serious damage to Shulang's market presence and brand reputation. Wayne Zhang, a legal director at a law firm, emphasized that fashion design reflects the creativity and intellectual effort of designers. He stated that the actions of the Shenzhen company constitute a serious violation of intellectual property rights. He urged Shulang to take legal action to hold the infringing party accountable and protect its legitimate rights and interests. Shulang Fashion, a renowned Chinese women's brand, has been dedicated to building national brands since its establishment.
