The second China-Korea Cotton Textile Conference co-sponsored by the China Cotton Textile Industry Association and the Korea Daewoo Textile Association will be held on April 20-22 in Seoul, South Korea.

In 2010, the Chinese cotton textile industry successfully completed its “Eleventh Five-Year” period with a good performance, and its status in the international community also increased. At the beginning of 2011, the Chinese cotton textile industry strived to open a good start for the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” on the basis of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan”. In the current critical period of strategic development, in view of the positive role and impact brought about by the successful holding of the first China-Korea Cotton Textile Conference, the China Cotton Textile Industry Association and Korea’s Daehan Textile Association jointly decided to hold it from April 20 to April 22, 2011. During the meeting, China-Korea cotton textile enterprises will exchange information on the status of their industries, bilateral textile trade, and market analysis. They will also visit high-tech textile research institutes, knitting factories, and modern spinning mills in South Korea and Japan. The organizers hope that the China-Korea Cotton Textile Conference will provide a professional platform for both cotton spinning industry managers and cotton spinning entrepreneurs to exchange and display.
